Alternate for CSN Part time track.

So I got a call this evening saying that I am an alternate for the part time track... I'm pretty sure that means "fat-chance" but thanks for trying but who knows... Does anyone else have any experience about being an alternate.
P.S. I had 24 points

Geez. I don't know whether to be happy or sad!

A friend of mine who posts on here is in the program and was an alternate last semester! Don't lose faith! There's still an excellent chance! So when did they say they would let you know for sure?

No experience being an alternate but I would say be happy that you still at least have a chance, that's more than those who didn't receive phone calls at all. So keep those fingers crossed! I believe though if they have to pick from the alternate list they do it by random lottery.

They said I could know as early as the Orientation day. I guess if you don't go to the orientation you decline by default so who knows.. Either way I go to pick up a packet tomorrow.

I also think people drop out after orientation because they give you so much information that day that's so overwhelming that some people are probably like oh no I don't think this is for me lol.

Huh?! They're calling alternates?!
So does that mean they're done calling all qualified?
That simply means no more hope for me then...

I hope you get in Janell... at least you have a for sure chance you'll get it so don't lose hope. I didn't get a call today so you're better off than me.

Take a deep breath, Registered Nut. Call them tomorrow. I have to say that I think it's pretty crappy that they don't call all the applicants whether they were accepted or not. I really thought they would.

I GOT IN!!!!
They emailed me at 11:32am and I was worrying this whole time. They couldn't contact me on my phone (maybe cuz its out of state) good thing I checked my old email *sigh of relief*....

Thank you for your support! I guess I'll be seeing you at the orientation! Yeeeeeey!!!!
