What would be great criterias/care for neuro specific ventilator weaning?

i think the main criteria would be their GCS, but i'm sure there's a lot more that everyone may come up with. I have a couple of ideas but would like to see what your input would be to this issue.

I think when the patient would be deemed as a hard wean we usually trach them (at bedside) can wean sedation better and more comfortable for the patient.
