Student coming into NICU

by MB37

Hi!
I'm an ABSN student who will be starting my ICU rotations in the NICU in the near future. I spend about 8 days in neuro, then about 6 in CVICU. I'll probably decide where to ask to precept based on these experiences. Is there any advice y'all can give for someone who's never been on the units before? Basic dos and don'ts? My med-surg preceptors have always given me good reviews, but I know that this will be completely different. Thanks so much!
