Re: new job
Hi Ladybird! Welcome to neuro nursing. When I started in neuro I bought a textbook by Joanne Hickey called
Clinical Practice of Neuroscience Nursing and I started reading. There is so much to learn so give yourself time to take it all in. If you want to get your feet wet before you start, try to study the different lobes of the brain and what each lobe is responsible for. Then I would dive into the cranial nerves and their pathways. Aneurysms are a big topic and so are brain tumors. Like I said, to narrow it down is impossible so just jump in. Good luck!
