Just starting my Neuro ICU Preceptorship

I will be doing my last 180 hours of nursing school in a Neuro ICU of a large teaching hospital which I am very excited about. My question is, what are some of the major differences of a neuro ICU and the SICU or MICU? Also, any suggestions on what basic skills I should brush up on specifically for this unit?
