Default Re: Interview for NeuroICU
I am a new grad that just interviewed and landed a job in the Neuro ICU. Surprisingly they did not ask me one neuro related question. I too was nervous about the interview, but they just asked those tuff interview questions like, Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses, or tell me about a situation where you had a problem and had to confront someone about it? The manager of a cardiac floor where I work lives near me and he told me that in an interview the main thing he wants to assess is how well you work with others and how much of a team player you are. He said that if you can pass the NCLEX he is confident you can learn the skills he is going to teach you. To him, the candidates knowledge about the cardiovascular system was not as important as how they will get along with the rest of the RNs. I hope this helps and good luck with the interview.
