I work on a neuro floor but we are also get a large portion of med/surgical patients. Supposedly we're building a stepdown ICU soon out of one our our four bedded rooms (yes we STILL have some 4 bed rooms in our hospital!).

I'm very excited about the possibility of rotating through the step down unit in a few years. Just graduated nursing school in June and started shortly after working on my floor. Always loved neuro and so i'm very excited to be a part of this forum and learn from you guys
