Creighton Accelerated BSN - acceptance GPA?

Hi there, for anyone who has recently completed creightons accelerated BSN program or has been accepted, can you give me an idea of what your GPA was? I'm a biology major with two Cs (general chemistry 1 and physiology) and two BCs/B- in organic chemistry 2 and biology 2. Both semesters I had some pretty bad personal problems so my GPA fell. The rest of my science classes are Bs with a few As and ABs thrown in, so I'm concerned about being accepted. My application essay is stellar and my work experience and leadership experiences are extensive.

Lastly, for those who applied for the January start date, when did you submit your application?

Hey!

I was just accepted to the ABSN program. My undergrad GPA is 3.6 and about the same for prereqs but I also have quite a bit of experience in the DD field which might have helped.

Hey Lisamichelle13, when did you apply to the program for fall 2015 acceptance? I really want to start in the fall but was wondering how fast the program fills up? How many do they normally accept?

I applied at the end of November and was accepted at the end of January.

I'm not sure how many people they accept, sorry!

Yes, I start in August :) I'm from Oregon. I'm planning on just going to Omaha for the ABSN program and then moving back home :)

That's so awesome, I live in Oregon right now too. I'm finishing up my bacholers at oregon state university right now, but I'm originally from Washington. I just applied for August& talked to admissions and they said they still have a lot of spots open so I'm pretty confident ill get in :)

I graduated from Oregon State last June! I still live in Corvallis too.

I haven't really looked for housing yet since I don't know who I'm going to live with. Let me know if you end up going to Creighton! It would be awesome to meet someone in the same program before I move out there

Since you guys are both OSU grads going to Creighton, I was hoping that one of you could answer a question for me. Did either of you have any issues with your Science requirements being on the quarter system?

I ask because I just got turned down (unless I wanted to retake Micro, both A&Ps, and Chem) from another school because my prereq Science credits didn't translate into enough hours on the semester system.

I'm worried that I'm going to have the same issue with the other schools I've applied to, as they are all on the semester system.
