Does NE Med Center offer benefits to PT employees?

Just Curious. Does UNMC offer health insurance to part-timers?

yes they do but I don't know how much and all. The education benefits are good too. I work for UNMC Physicians, different organization, good benefits too. The tuition reimbursement program is how I'm going to nursing school. I keep encouraging my kids to get jobs at UNMC where the tuition is $1 a credit hour if you attend UNO, but changes have been made and I am not up to par on how they have changed. But there are health benefits for part-time employees.

Yes they do...I work there part-time and get full benefits. They offer every type of insurance-health, eye, dental, and also retirement, life insurance, etc. You have to work at least 0.45 hrs (which is 36 hours every 2 weeks) to get benefits. The only catch is that you have to use their doctors and hospitals (Med center or clarkson), which sucks because my doctor is through Alegent.
