having a job as a tech in the hospital isn't that bad. but i only work 24 hrs/week,evenings. so that way i have time to study. i have never had a job in the healthcare field before. i'm glad i have it now!:spin: i'm gaining confidence. i also know that this hospital will hire me as a nurse as soon as i get my license. so, i think i'm going in the right direction. now i only need God's blessing. :spin:
    jess2007,
it's great to hear that being a tech isn't bad at all. i'm an international graduate & this is gonna be my first job. i still want to try the nurse tech position, but i'm still afraid to do so. i hope i could gain the confidence you have. what do you usually do as a nurse tech? thanks a lo! God bless to you! :spin:

basically nursing tech in a hospital = CNA.
i also check patients' vital signs, prepare them for some procedures, organize my day by "who should i see and prepare first".
