Why does it take so long????

I took my NCLEX today and now I have to wait two working days for the results to post (via quick results). Why does it take so long?!?! It's on the computer for crying out loud so it knows pretty much instantly whether I passed or failed. I get that Pearson wants to milk my bank account for all it can but why so long?

Any insights??

i always wondered this also. am i correct the computer shuts off after you have not answered/answered enough questions correctly? it would make sense that the computer would know your results right then. good question. i would be interested to know the answer to this too!

Quick results only charge if the results are in. I know MANY from my clinicals who called the next day and the quick results were available.
(on the other hand...when I called...the "system is down" was all I kept getting )
Good luck!

May go through a second check just to make sure, who knows. Some have posted seeing their name on BON website within 24 hours on passing. Good luck
