When to take your NCLEX

I'm wondering how long most of you waited to take your NCLEX? Some people say take it right away and other say to wait awhile? I was going to take it right away?

Take the boards right away while you're in "test" mode. Virtually all of my class had their paperwork squared away well before graduation. Graduated, took whatever prep class they wanted & took the boards. Within 3 months of graduation, only one person in my class did not pass the NCLEX.

I graduated in June, took the boards in July & started work in August.

The longer you wait, the more you forget, and the harder it is to get motivated to do it. Schedule your test for one to three months from now and get it done. Good luck.
