What about snacks during the test? I am thinking Kellog's cereal bars or something.

I'm not sure what attire is considered acceptable. I never heard about "no hoodies" or other clothing restrictions.

I'm planning to dress in layers--I know it's summertime but they may have the A/C cranked up high with my luck. I'll probably have an egg sandwich and a coffee for breakfast: enough protein, carbs and fat to keep me happy for several hours. Snack will be whatever I grab...probably a cheese stick and a granola bar. If I'm lucky, I'll be out of there long before I'll want the snack, but I'm preparing for the worst

I wore jeans and a regular t shirt and it was comfy enough. As far as food, I was so nervous that I decided to skip breakfast so I did not throw up eggs or something worse on someone. Once I sat down for the test though I was calm but as everyone else will tell you, I left pearsonvue thinking I failed.

LEt's see..probalby don't drink coffee. I did and I think my nerves made me go to the bathroom 2x before the exam. Eat a light breakfast! Definitely bring some snacks. You never know how many questions you're going to have but prepare like you're going to have 265ques and 6 hrs. I took 2 mini breaks to use the restroom and ate mini cupcakes. The ATP in your brain and energy will definitely deplete 1-2 hrs during the test so definitely take a mini break and eat something sweet to put sugar in your brain.. I think it helped me..I survived 265 questions and almost 6 hrs..and i survived and officially passed today =) finally and RN..good luck to you!

Wear something comfortable. They take your picture but I'm not sure whether or not they use that photo for you license. Wear socks..i wore flip flops bc it was 110 outside and it was freezing in the room. I drank coffee, and I probably shouldn't have. I went to the bathroom 2x before the exam! Nerves I suppose. Oh, definitely bring water and some sweet snacks. When you concentrate for so long and you start getting a headache, you'll know your brain is low in ATP and you'll need a boost of sugar. I took two breaks, I got 265 questions, and stayed they for almost 6 hours..so definitely be ready for that just in case. I'm so glad I brought snacks bc I probalby wouldn't have passed bc of hypoglycemia..hehehe..I officially passed today and am now an RN..wohoo..good luck!
