wow. Thanks everyone. i really appreciate it. i will surely bring snacks and keep u posted next week. thanks

i wore t-shirt and capri, took my light sweater with me in case i need it but forgot it in the car. i had water and 4 penut butter bars with me. funny thing computer cut me off at 75 questions in 45 minutes. i passed and that s it,ate my last penut butter bar last nite!!!!!!

For whomever brought their purse in with them, where do you keep it? Also, if you are going to eat a snack during your break, do you just go get it out of your purse or what? I'm so lost as to how the NCLEX test-taking process works!

As soon as you get there, you are assigned a locker. You put ALL of your belongings in there and you cannot take ANYTHING AT ALL into the test with you. I was disappointed that I couldn't even bring my bottle of water with me.

My advice is to dress in layers. Typically I am always cold but not sure if it was my nerves, but I was hot in there and was happy I could take off my sweater.

Food: Several people in previous posts recommended protein for breakfast to feed the brain. I had eggs and packed a couple of granola bars and water for a snack. Luckily, my computer shut off after 75 questions and didn't need to go to my locker for a snack--but at least I had a snack for the long ride home.

You can't bring your purse into the testing area, it has to go in your locker.

I would also remind you not to take any study material into the test center, if you travel by car and arrive early then leave it in your car.

No study aids (textbooks, notebooks, classroom notes, etc.)

are allowed anywhere in Pearson Professional Centers.
