What books/websites help you to prepare for nclex

I have a few nursing study nclex books but none of them seem to be hitting the subject and i failed my first nclex and i feel like nothing i looked at in any of those books helped me out at all. So i was wondering what worked for you if you could let me know. Thanks

Tons of NCLEX book. Do you have Saunders? Is one of the best review book student used. Wish you luck!

Mostly prefer Saunders Comprehensive and Q&A, Kaplan, LaCharity PD&A, Hurst and Lippincotts. It's really up to you on how you study. Not all of the review materials above works for everyone. I suggest you take 1 or 2 of the review materials above then include LaCharity book since it has lot of prioritization and delegation topics in it. Majority of questions in the NCLEX are delegation and prioritization. Take time to read about infection control and check out the CDC website for updates. Make a study plan and stick to it. Eat healthy and take time to do some 30-minute exercise.

Good Luck!

I used the kaplan review course and saunders book. I passed the nclex with 75 questions on the first try. I would say try not to use too many books because you may get overwhelmed. I had a friend that used kaplan, saunders and 2 other books and failed. when she did it again the second time she used kaplan only and passed with 75 questions.

Most people go with the Saunders review book, the Kaplan course or book, and the book on Prioritization by L. LaCharity. If you feel you have exhaused those resources, then choose another until you feel that you are prepared. Good luck.
