Waiting is the hardest part....

by ffweste

Took NCLEX-RN today @ 8am, finished by 915am (78 questions) I never thought that I would want that test to keep going. I answered some bizarre lead exposure question and then the screen went blue (my mind said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!).

I know I am not alone waiting.

So now what to do while I wait other than look at my calendar and plan what I am doing the 1st week of November.......

I took it today at 8am too. Got 75 questions. I felt good at first, but then thinking back, I'm not feeling so hot. I got 3-4 med calculation questions and I'm unsure if I got them right (ugh!), about 10 sata, a lot of meds that I did not know!! ughhh i hope the fl BON posts their results tomorrow. The waiting is horrible.

I hope so for you too! I didn't have any dosage calc questions. I had several priority, med questions (lots of those), and some SATA. I am horrible at remembering a test even 2 minutes after I take it. The only question I remember is that stupid last question about lead exposure. DUMB QUESTION - I will remember it of the rest of my life.

I am sure that you did fine. At least at some point you have felt - not for one minute have I felt good....

And so we wait......

Good luck. I agree that the waiting was horrible. Try not to think about it too much.
You've earned a well deserved break. Relax ( as much as you can ). nbch:Again, good luck.

Good Luck everyone! Waiting is the hardest part but try to do something that you have NOT done in a long time to keep your mind on something else. Maybe a movie, dinner or a walk or catching up on sleep. I will be praying for ALL of you!

Thank you everyone for your support. Hopefully, only 36 hours until I find out....not that I am counting or anything.

You should not worry about not remembering the questions from the exam, that is actually a very good thing since it is illegal to share anything about what was directly on your exam. You signed a document before you began the exam that you would not discuss anything that you had on your exam in the way of questions/answers. And that goes for posting anything about it here.

Please just do something fun for the next day and a half until you can get your results via Quick Results and do be aware that not all states participate in this thru Pearson-Vue; only about 27 did at last count.

Most come out of the exam feeling like they did not pass, but only find out to their amazing grace that they passes. Always recommend that one waits until they get their actual results before planning anything else.

Best of luck to all of you that are waiting.
