Waiting

Nursing Students NCLEX

So I'm sure many of you have seen me posting here as of late. I took my NCLEX-RN on 7/1 and waited until 7/8 until I was way to freaked to think it was normal. I called the CA BON and (after 22 calls) got through to someone. He said that the reason I hadn't received any results was because my file was incomplete and it showed I did not have Peds/OB on my transcripts. I was an LVN-RN/ADN bridge student, so I didn't understand since being an LVN credits us the first year of an ADN program. He said to just send over transcripts from my LVN school, which I did when I spoke to him. I contacted my RN program and they said that I was the second LVN to have that problem and they would look into it. They (my RN school) called me back a few hours later and explained that they didn't adequately fill out the paperwork that went to the BON and that they didn't "check off" the section that grants us the credit for the first year courses. They said they refilled the documents out and were sending them out that same day 7/8.

I'm hoping that one of the two documents (either from my school or the transcripts) get over to the BON and processed quickly. It's been 9 days and 4 hours waiting to know if I passed or not... I had, and still have, the good pop-up with the PVT but after 9 days... it's not really comforting me anymore.

Any words of advice, support, or encouragement would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all

thats wierd because why did they let you test then?

From my understanding, CA allows you to test even if all your documents haven't arrived. I think they allow you to test based off of a roster your school sends up to them even before all the documents are sent.

I finally got my results. I passed NCLEX-RN with 75 questions. I still don't know how I did that, but I'm so excited. After 22 days (2 hours before the 23 day mark) my name was posted on CA BRN. I'm an RN!

Congrats!!
