Hi all,

I took the NCLEX-RN (in VA) on Saturday, July 25th. It is now Monday, July 27th - I called the automated verification line at 9:00 am this morning, and still no license info - does this mean I failed??

No it doesn't mean you failed. Really you can not predict until you get your results from the BON

Hi I'm also in Va and took my nclex last week. It might be that you took your test on a Saturday, so technically no one was at the BON to receive your results until today. I wouldn't freak out yet. Try tomorrow and see if they are there then. I took my test on a thurs, and checked the automated line the next day in the afternoon and my results were there. Good luck!

have u tried the pearson vue trick that is on this forum?? I belive others (I'm from VA as well) said they got their results on Tuesday via phone. You can cal the VA BON (not the automated #) and askan actual live person if a license is valid. It takes anywhere from 2-4 business days to make it to the web page. But others have stated, nothing is set in stone!

Thanks sincerely for the feedback, everyone - I will anxiously be holding my breath/enduring waves of stomach knots and nausea - until the MOMENT OF TRUTH (oh my Lord please please let me have passed - I can't even begin to think of the road ahead if I didn't).

I took my NCLEX on a Wednesday afternoon and I was on the VA BON website by Friday morning. I used my drivers license number instead of my SSN on my application, so I couldn't do the automated line. Drove me nuts!! LOL

I successfully wrote NCLEX yesterday and my name was on the VA BON Automated phone today at 0830

No it doesn't mean you failed. I took mine last year in June in VA. I don't remember what day of the wk or anything (I posted on here though so you could find out). Anyway I just knew I had failed because I wasn't sure of any of my answers and I kept getting very similar questions then the computer turned off at 75 questions. I cried all the way home (an hour and 1/2). When I called the next day it was not there nor was it on the website. I became histerical because some of my classmates had taken it and had their results the next morning. Long story short I finally got my results (via the BON website license lookup) and I had passed. I never was able to get it over the phone.

Be calm, try to relax, find something else to do maybe something you wanted to do while in school and never had time for. Good luck!
