Uworld Self-Assessment Exam questions

Nursing Students NCLEX

Updated:   Published

Hey guys,

Has anyone heard / know how accurate Uworld's new self-assessment exam is? They recently added (01/01/2017) the new self-assessment portion. I had a friend score a 98% on it and passed her NCLEX in 75 questions. She was the only person I know of that took the self-assessment test. Was wondering if any knows about others that have taken it and scored high/low and passed the NCLEX as well. I took my assessment and scored a 92% so I am a bit worried about my chances of passing the NCLEX now...

Thanks in advance!

i always try 50 questions and i always got average score. never tried the self assessment yet. im scared im not gonna make it

Took NCLEX this morning and got the "good pop up" with the PVT!!! UWorld was the only thing I studied and it was identical to the NCLEX layout! Shut off at 75 questions! Felt so prepared thanks to UWorld!

Gongrats!!!

What was your score?

nurselola16 Thank you!!!!! I'm beyond relieved it's all over and done with! I averaged a 58% with my UWorld question bank with 800 questions left not done in the bank...then I took the assessment and got the 90th percentile "Very high" chance of passing NCLEX.

Don't be scared just take your time you'll do great!

It shut off at 75 but I got the good pop up but I feel like I failed. I had a lot of SATA and had priority through out and my last question was a priority. I guessed on almost everything! I am freaking :(

If I fail after shut off at 75 and got the good pop up god hates me

So I did the assessment. Overall score is 61% correct 39% wrong, I am in the 83rd percentile with 229 questions left. I took my assessment today and got a 74.7% correct and 25% incorrect correlating to a 97% chance of passing NCLEX. So what do you guys think?

Don't worry. I felt the same exact way when mine shut off at 75. I had at least 10 SATA and a few priority questions and felt that I was guessing on them all. I heard that it may be a good thing that you got a lot of SATA because it's giving you hard questions and not easy questions. Yes, it will be hard waiting for the results. Just keep checking BON to see if your license # pops up. Mine popped up around 2.5 days after my exam that I took on Saturday.

I think you should be fine... My self-assessment scores were lower than yours (57% correct, 72nd percentile) and I was able to pass the NCLEX with 75 questions.

I have about 300 questions left with an average of 53% on my UWorld. I was starting off really terrible at the beginning and that's part of the reason why my score has been low. As of lately I've been ranging from 50's as high as 62's being the highest. I just took my self-assessment out of spontaneously out of curiosity and anxiety to know my probability and did better than I thought with a 66% resulting in a Very High Chance with a 92% probability of passing. I am just hoping this translates into the real NCLEX (take it in early February). I am just being consumed by the stress and anxiety at this point.

Hi everyone! This is my first time (i think) to post here. So frustrated, been failing the NCLEX 5x now. Been reviewing, but since I cannot afford financially the review classes as well as online, been doing it by myself, using free online reviews, reading books etc. If there's anybody here who would like to lend me Uworld account to review (as Ive heard, Uworld do a really good job in preparing somebody for NCLEX) I would really appreciate it or any type of review that greatly help in passing their NCLEX. Im a mother of 2 and I just cant help myself cry everytime I see my kids thinking I cant even give them the better life they deserve if only I pass this NCLEX. Please email me [email protected] May God bless your great heart!

You are on the track, convekz. My average is on 52nd percentile, and I have 500 questions left. The exam is scheduled on February 7th. What do you think, should I reschedule?
