Nursing Students NCLEX

I'm sorry to dish out all my emotions on here but no one in my family is in the medical field and I feel like they just don't understand any of this. (Not like I expect them to) I thought I prepared really well for this exam but I went the full 265. I was in shock when question after question kept coming and by the time I hit 180, I took a break to mentally prepare myself for 265. The last question was completely easy, along the lines of what you say to this patient blah blah. But because it was easy, I feel like I might have been below the passing line?? How exactly does that last question work? I'm freaking out so bad and I haven't stopped thinking about.

(Sorry, that I sound like a total crybaby but my anxiety is so awful atm and I'm sure others here can understand.)

Try to relax, and for question 265, as long as it was above the line, whether you get it wrong or right, you pass. Question 264 is the one you want to think about. Just depends on how far above or below the line you may have been. And it's hard to tell. My last question was a picture. It seemed pretty easy. But it must have been above the line because mine cut off at 130 ish. Have faith and pray. Did you do the PVT trick?? It works!

:bag:

I'm trying my hardest to breathe. Ah, this is the most nerve wrecking experience. I can't even think about 264. It's all a blur at this point. But thank you for your encouraging words. I'm trying my best to be positive. I did do PVT and got the good pop up but I don't want to rely on it too much just in case.

I just found out that I passed. The trick might actually be a legit thing in majority of cases!! Best of luck to you and congrats on making it this far!!!!

you arent a cry baby! and i totally agree with you. I am an LPN for 5 years and i just took my nclex rn today at 8:00am. shut off at 75 finished in 2 hours. did the trick. got a pop up that says "This candidate has exam results on HOLD, cannot schedule an exam at this time." Its not the good pop up, but its not the bad pop up, but the suspence is KILLING me. I also felt like the start of my test i got a few challanging questions thrown at me! was nothing knowlege based, nothing basic and easy! jumped right into a bunch of select alls. Alot of meds, which i am very familar with due to my LPN backround, and ALOT of patient teaching! :( i do feel like the middle of the test became a little easier for me, and the last two questions were basic knowledge which i dont think i passed at all! im trying to create my own idividual post but cant seem to figure out how??? if anyone else knows or has run into this problem can you please respond back and give a little reassurance, some positive feedback. im a wreck as the many of us are, have all been in these shoes. :(

Oh my goodness, you are me two days ago. I know exactly how you feel and I'm sending you lots of hugs and prayers. You might have did the PVT too fast, or I've heard that some people's results might take a littler longer to process because of other reasons. All I can do is advise that you distract yourself for now. Don't let yourself go crazy because you have made it this far and that in itself deserves a huge pat in the back. Do you get quick results in your state?

yes im in NYC and do have the option for QR. still unable to give me results! today is exactly 48 hours!! i mean to make us wait this long just to tell me i did not pass is just totally cruel and mean to put anyone through. today i feel much better than i have two days ago, i actually gave myself a nosebleed. went out last night and celebrated my 30th birthday, but today i have check 4 times alreadt since 2pm and still the same screen. can i ask how long did you wait until they lifted your block? and did you also pass? did your exam shut at 75? i dont feel confident that i passed at all, and even if i did, this completely stole my joy!
