First I want to start by saying that I have been lurking in this forum for about 2 months and have posted a couple times. And I am so glad that my nursing instructor told us about this web site! I have been gathering information about the experience of the the test, not just how to study or what with (I thought I had that all under control). I was here to try and anticipate how I might feel before during and after. And for the most part I feel the same as everyone, very scared!
My test shut off after 85 questions and I know that the number of questions means nothing, but wow! I really don't know how I did! I had a wide varity, Infection control, priority, OB, Mental health , Pharm but no math!
I had a few select all that apply, (I dont remember how many, I cant even try to guess)
I had about 5 to 10 questions about a disease/syndrome thing of which I have no clue (and I will be looking up as soon as I'm done here!)
But to get to my point I guess,
You will have to experience this beast for yourself. I thought I was prepared to see hard questions and deal with the anxiety of the computer shutting off when you really feel that you need more to try and pass.
But I feel so lousy right now. And I keep thinking ..what can I do different for when I take it again? And where will I get another $200
Thanks for letting me vent I hope to be back in a few days to tell you that I passed!
