I'm going through the same thing right now as well, and I gotta tell ya Rosewood, your words of encouragment were just what I needed today! I can't retake my NCLEX until August 15th but already everyone I know is pressuring me left and right.
I'm doing Suzanne's NCLEX study plan (Saunder's book) and then I'm planning on going through the Kaplan course book that a friend loaned me. After that (if I get that far!) I have a book that is all medication review that I'm going to attempt to trek through.
UGH! It's a long road ahead, but Rosewood is absolutely right----we will be the better RNs because we've had to work harder for it! We know without a doubt what it means to bust our butts to accomplish our dreams...and we will be rewarded in the end! And we will be able to appreciate the journey that brought us here and be more knowledgeable RNs in the long run!
I was devastated when I found out that I'd taken a three-and-a-half-hour long test with all 265 questions just to FAIL in the end. The comforting thing was that I was very, very close to passing; I just think that my anxiety was what got me in the end.

Much encouragement and cyber-hugs to you both; we can and WILL do this thing! As one of my co-workers told me--- "Amy, it ain't nothin' but a thang."
