Long time viewer, first time poster.

I took it yesterday in N.Y. Did all 265 ?s in about 3-3:30 hours. I left feeling bummed out...

Here the situation... I got a good amount of Most Important, First action, Priority, Best Response, Correct teaching and Would need intervention questions, in fact, that was the majority of my exam. I did get "what supports the diagnoses" and "Nurse understands that" questions from time to time. 12 SATA, 6-7 Math questions.

I'm worried. A part of me felt that I passed, but it's a small part. I had a similar situation about looking over the proctors shoulder and seeing "failed" on a paper, but I read one of the posts, and I felt a little better.
I felt I got a lot of higher level questions. If anyone can offer some good insight, let me know.

I'm in limbo right now. I'm checking the pearson vue website every so often...

Oh, and I know that people passed with 265...I just need some support.

BTW, anyone that took the exam this week and all points before, congraduations are differently in order. Win, lose or draw, enough respect should be given to those who got even so far.

ANyone going to take the test, may God be with you always. Keep a level head and do your best.

Did you have a lot of delegation and triage questions towards the end?

They were peppered through out the exam. Which would the nurse see first was one type I got a lot of. Yet, I remember fewer delegation.

How prepared were you for the exam? Did you do a lot questions from questions banks? Take a review course, etc? Were your scores good on the question banks?

I thought I felt as prepared as I was going to be.
with Kaplan's Q-Bank...my avg was around 56% with 850?s.
Qt5- 58%
QT6- 60%
QT7: 57%
And I practiced a little with Nclex 3500 and Saunders for content I was lacking in.


Oh, and Pearson Vue still didn't update yet...what TORTURE!!!!

I never did the Kaplan test banks, but from what I've heard those scores might be good enough. I know it's not very reassuring. Good luck and keep us posted.
