took nclex 7/18- feeling nauseated

by cajam6

hey everyone,
Took the exam today. Left the test, went to my car and just started crying. I feel like I totally blew the test. The machine shut down at 75. I encountered at least six multiple responce, three on herbs, 2 fill in the blanks, and I could not even think if the questions were getting harder or easier. I want to remain confident, but my insides are telling me I really blew it. Had a bunch on prioritizing, but not to many on delegation. I know if I fail it will not be the end of the world, but I just feel so numb now. Any suggestions?

i took the nclex this morning as well. I don't know how i did either. I did feel as if the questions were tough at times, but overall I just don't know. I have decided that there is nothing I can do about it now, I just have to wait. Try to chill out and take your mind off of it...I know that it is easier said than done, but try anyhow.
By the way, I had 6 check all that apply, I delegation, mostly prioritizing and 'who would the nurse assess first' questions. I had one math question.

Default Hey! same here! you are not alone
I also took the test today (7/18) and was also shut off at 75. I felt that I might have blown it because I looked up some questions afterwards, they were wrong. I wish I could have done some more questions, but it shut off at 75. I have no herb at all, and had 1 Islamic culture question. Does it mean that I have no pilot questions (questions that don't count)? Well! there is nothing I can do now. just sit tight and see what will happen!

I made the mistake of looking up some of my questions, and the ones I looked up were wrong, too. I still passed the test! The questions you are remembering are probably the ones you did not know.
There are fifteen questions in the first 75 that do not count no matter how many questions you get.
The odds are on your side with 75!
Good luck

I so feel for you. I think we all do. I took mine on July 1st and I shut down at 75. I am still waiting for my results! Danged California! It is making me go insane . I to made the mistake of rushing home to look up like 3 different questions and I of course got them wrong and I feel positive that I failed it . It was hands down the worst test I have ever taken in my entire life. I had 2 check all that apply, to math, and the rest were either out of left field completely or prioritization. I am terrified! I will be praying for the both of us.

Took my exam on 7/18 as well. I have been nauseated ever since. I WISH mine had shut off at 75! I took 264!!! 264!! What the heck is that?? I think I would feel better if I had done that last one too! I have been wracking my brain ever since trying to remember that last question. My theory is, if I got it right I passed, if I got he last one wrong I failed miserably. I had quite a few herbal questions, several delegation questions, 3 math questions and a TON of chemotherapy and radiation questions. Chemo!! We spent about 5 minutes on Chemo in school.... I came out of there and honestly I just don't know. I checked the state boards website here in pennsylvania. I won't have to wait because if I failed they yank my temporary license immediately. As of 7:15 AM this morning my temp is still there so I am waited with bated breathe and a bottle of pepto handy in case I throw up. The idea of going back to work tomorrow and having to tell them sorry I cannot take a patient assignment tonight I have to work as a nurses aide for the next 45 days just makes me want to run to the bathroom and lose my breakfast.
My husband, wonderful as he is, keeps telling me that he knows I passed but if I didn't at least I know what to expect next time. God love him he just doesn't get it lol.
