Took my LPN Boards YESTERDAY!!! PVT trick doesn't work for EVERYONE!! Click in!!

Ok well first let me say I am GLAD it is over with......I graduated nursing school Dec/2010 and took boards yesterday....I can say that I had NOOOO CLUE if I passed or not but I was leaning on I DIDN'T pass and GOD performed a miracle and granted me my License. Well as SOON as I got out of the testing center I called my best friend who passed the test last week to go and do the PVT so she did it and it gave me the "GOOD" pop up :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: WHAT!! Are you serious? I was in complete disbelief!! Well so when I got home until now I have been going to the Pearson Vue website making sure the "Pop up" is still there and it is. Well I have decided that just a few mins ago was the last time I was going to go and check because I need to put my TRUST in God that he did take my test and I have to BELIEVE that I have PASSED....so I am not going back to that site until tomorrow when I get my "OFFICIAL" results...........BUT IN THE NAME OF JESUS I HAVE PASSED MY TEST :nurse:

Ok so you read my title and I put that the PVT doesn't work for EVERYONE....well another friend of mines took it yesterday got a different "POP UP" hers said "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time." which was different from what mine said...mine said something in the nature of "I have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance...yada yada yada" Well she called the board today and the person checked her results :eek: and he told her that she FAILED :crying2: I called the board and got a lady and she wouldn't tell me NOTHING :rolleyes: (my friend had got a man that told her, wish he would of answered the phone instead of that darn lady!) so I guess I just have to be patient and find out tomorrow through the quick results.

So in conclusion if you get the "POP UP" doesn't always mean you PASSED or at least if you get the "Test results on HOLD" doesn't mean you passed...just possibly they are reviewing your results at random.

BTW I got 85 questions (the minimal for LPN and she got 205 the max)

The message that your friend got is a common one, I got it for the first few hours after I took mine...it just means that your results aren't in yet. The trick works, you just have to know which one is which.

Yes I'm sure she will do better next time, she really didn't study but I don't know if you can study for these NCLEX exams.....Your graduation date is almost here girl!!!! It will pass by fast!!!

I passed the PVT WORKS!!!!!!!!! PRAISE AND GLORY TO GOD....Got my results exactly 48 hours later!!! =)

i took my testyesterday which was my fifth time. all the other times i got the msg about test results on hold and it took me to the cc registration to pay again well guess what this time i got the msg i could not re-register to contact my state boards msg yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy im pray its right i have never gotten this pop up before

Pray it workd and God was in control of my test!!! I owe it all to him and will use my nursing as a way to minister for him!!!!!!!!!!

Results on hold mean just that...the results are not available, they are old as PV are looking into the test. Either there was a discrepency (one person was so excited to finish they jumped up rather than raise their hand and thus their results were put on hold until Pearson Vue could review the tapes), or you tried to erase on the white board, a problem with the finger/palm scanner, but NCLEX results could be put on hold for a variety of reasons and it is not an indicator of whether you pass or fail. (Just check out the NCLEX forum). It is relatively common to have results put on hold (and not necessarily an indication of pass or fail) the reason can be benign (questioning the use of extra white boards, finger scan glitch) to serious violations of the rules (such as utilizing a cell phone/texting during a testing session break).

The pop up you got is the indication of passing (the candidate already has a registration, please contact your board of nursing). Results on hold will eventually "convert" to a result either the quick results that we pay for, sending the applicant to the CC page indicating failure, or the "good" pop up.

Took my PN exam 6/11. Went home and did PVT and got "good pop up". Checked all day 6/12 with no results. Got up at 8 a.m. today and checked Pearson and no early results. Checked my BON and license was active. I passed!! Trick worked for me. Good luck.
