TL/IP: What do you put when searching NCLEX results?

Nursing Students NCLEX

I took my NCLEX on 5/19 in CA. I have been going to the CABON website and wondering what I am supposed to put in the box where it asks for TL or IP after you put in your name. Am I missing something?

Thanks.

If you have applied for an interim permit and want to verify then you need to put in your last name and then enter. Incase if you are trying to verify if you have passed your NCLEX and have been issued the liscense. You need to go to the license verification section put in your last name. If you see your name that names you have passed your NCLEX and the BRN has issued you a liscense. If you do not then you will have to wait. It took me 3 weeks to get my result!!

Is there a specific section that says "verify license." I have been to both "temporary and permanent license spots."

Thanks

Interim permit does not require that you have taken NCLEX. It is offered only to nurses that haven't taken the exam yet.

Temporary licenses are for those that have licenses already in other states and are applying for a temporary license while their documents are being processed, so that doesn't cover you either.

You need to go to where you check for the permanent license only in finding out for what you need to know. It can take a couple of weeks to get posted, but there are some nurses that have found their name in three days.

The section that says verify license............just put in your name and see if it is there yet. If it is, you passed NCLEX. If not, don't get worried, it can take a few weeks. But this is the only spot for you to search..........
