Think I failed... need support :o(

I took my NCLEX-RN exam Friday. I started crying before I even reached my car, and have been since. The test shut off at 75 questions and it took me around 2 hours. I had a lot of SATA, pharm and infection, one drag and drop. I've been trying to figure out what question I had all day... I feel like a lot of "lower level" questions, and not many priority. I had no med calcs, no hot spots. The drugs I felt like I had never seen in my life, let alone be able to tell you side effects. I'm feeling really down and embarassed. I will hopefully find out my results tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know a good website or examples of what is a "lower level" question and what is an "upper level" question?

rnstudent just relax; you went through the most difficult part of it all which was nursing school. So do not stress it, and you could check your board of nursing website for your result if your state participate in early result. Good luck and keep us posted.

I just wanted to say; try and think positive...as difficult as that is to do. I took my test yesterday and feel almost exactly as you describe and mine also shut off at 75. Try and tell yourself you had enough knowlege that the test decided you were adequately comprehensive. I didn't feel like the test got harder or harder, rather I feltmore as if I really dont' know any of the correct answsers to the questions except for maybe a few. HANG IN THERE!

Just relax and take your mind off the test. You've been through the worst part - finish with nursing school. You've tested and all of us feel the same way till you get the results as there is no way to tell about passing till you get your results. You may be surprised, keep the faith. Good luck.

I was number 5 from my class taking my NCLEX-RN exam, and everyone before me came out crying. They ALL passed. In fact, everyone I know who got 75 questions passed.

Try not to stress so much. You don't really know how you did yet.

BTW - I had 15 medication questions, and I only knew the answer to 2 of them. The rest I could only narrow down to 1 of 2 answers at best. Also, no medication calculations. I, too, worried that I didn't get to the higher level questions.

I passed.

Most people think they failed, no matter how smart they appeared in classes/clinical. There are the occasional freak testers who spent 30 min had 75 questions and never broke a sweat. So just remember just about everyone feels like poo after it.

When I took it, I initially thought I had failed it. The test shut-off at 75, I took about two hours to complete it, I had seven SATA, and no calculations. Three days later, I was posted as an RN. I'm confident you did fine, and if you didn't pass this time, you study a bit a more and pass the next time.

It's the final hurdle, and finish line is in sight

I took mine last thursday. I don't know if what I had was higher level questions. I passed @ 75. I know it was really a miracle. I give all the glory to God!

Just don't lose hope. Your result is not out yet. Trust in God and believe that you have given your all.

God bless you. Please update us if you get your results.
