Man oh man is it hard when you live in California. I'm on day 12. I go up and down. I try not to get frustrated/angry with the system for putting us Californian's through this. Argggg........

While waiting for final exam grades (nearly a week, WAY too long when classes are over!!), I swing into action. Ok, maybe you wouldn't consider this fun, but it IS therapeutic! At least for me, anyway...I CLEAN. Like a madwoman.
You're not the only one. I not only clean, but I also cook and bake.

I tried to do lunch with some non-nursing friends, but everyone was busy, so I convinced my hubby to go out to lunch with me and we came home afterward and took a nap. Heaven!

After that, I made a double espresso and watched Anchorman and laughed my derriere off. When that was over, the UPS guy delivered my husband's Father's Day gifts, so I put one to use--I cut his hair with the hair clipper he wanted.

I'm in California...just took the test. I can't imagine the wait ahead of me. I'm already a nervous wreak...let alone if I have to wait a few weeks...

So it only took three days!!! I spent those three days doing the slug thing...I watched the new Doctor Who....first two seasons...

My family and I are going to go to the water park tomorrow. I am going to get lost in the lazy river and forget about it. I am thankful it is over for sure but it is nerve racking and we don't even have to wait that long now. Thank God!

i am going to sit on the couch and watch Sex and the City and Friends on DVD. Maybe catch up on the stack of magazines that have accumulated over the past two years. :spin:

Unfortunately, I have to go back to work which is kind of a good distraction. That is at least 20 hours of distraction. I will try to put a few hours of sleep in there. Already slept 3 after it was over (had a splitting headache). I spent 30 minutes laying down the rules to my husband about not stressing me out in there.

I guess I could do things like clean, and wash clothes. I guess, with your nerves being so tore up, you literally don't know which way to turn. I did better before the test.

My kitchen counters get everything removed, I scrub and soak and polish appliances and nooks and crannies. I clean out the fridge (CLEAN, not just empty!). I polish the furniture. I scrub stains of unknown origin off my kids floors.

My hands stay busy, my house looks great, and I used up that anxiety energy!

While I thought I'd do this, I just find myself sitting here today with absolutely no energy and no desire to do anything but check for results every 10 minutes.
