The Secret behind Passing California NCLEX-RN at 75

Nursing Students NCLEX

The title most definitely made a lot of u want to open this ;) I just wanted to share to all of u my secret. I am not saying that it is that easy to pass NCLEX-RN at 75. I was very scared when mine did. I took nclex-rn last aug. 17, 2006 and as u guys know results from cali board takes longer and it's agonizing. I really did my best with the test and reviewed well but that doesn't give u an assurance no matter how smart u are that u'd pass it. My secret was continous prayers. Just before i answered any of the exam questions i laid my hands on my monitor telling God to give me the best comprehension ability that I may not over analyze nor under analyze the questions. Then I switched my attention to the keyboard and asked God to make the values I type to be correct. I then held the mouse and asked Him to guide my hand in clicking the right answer. Asking God to be beside me all the way til the exam ends was my perfect weapon. Yes, I did get really difficult questions and everytime I did, I made it a point that "in Jesus name my answer will be correct." I kept praying a lot and believed that I will pass. A week ago i got my nclex result. God really is so good He did not just made me pass but He made me just answer 75 questions taking just 1 hour and 20 minutes. So for all of u in doubt with ur review and ur answers you just have to call and claim it in His name that you'll pass.

I don't doubt that religious people may feel calmer and perform better if they are praying, but "God helps those that help themself"!! (also I don't think God would choose 75 questions necessarily)

Whatever works!

You are right. I believe it is important to prepare spiritually (prayers) as well as physically (studying hard, knowing your stuff etc). It is also important to remember to thank the Lord when you do pass.

Since I'm not religious ... I just pray to the NCLEX gods ... whomever they might be.

;)

You don't need the NCLEX gods, you just need the one true GOD.

I wish you all the best in taking your exams, when is it?

You're entitled to your religious beliefs and, I respect that. But please respect my beliefs also ... which is: I don't need any god to pass the exam. Please don't tell me what I need.

My remark about the NCLEX gods was a joke, btw.

My remark about the my God wasn't a joke. Some religious jokes are not funny eg NCLEX gods. Well, I guess that's why we learn Cultural differences in nursing school.

Yes, and they also teach us tolerance in nursing school. That means you're not supposed to impose your personal beliefs on others ... i.e. telling me I need one true god to pass the NCLEX.

I don't believe in god and I don't need it. All I'm asking is that you respect my beliefs as I respect yours.
