That test was impossible...

  1. I do not feel confident at all after taking the NCLEX this morning. The test was so hard and I don't think there is anything in this world that would have helped me get through it.

    I had 75 questions...and have no confidence that I passed with 75.

    I just needed to vent...Thanks.

Remember, most people feel that way after getting through that test. The ones who pass still tend to get every other question wrong, same with the ones who fail. The key is at what difficulty of questions were you getting half right or wrong. And by the sounds of it, if you thought the questions were real tough, it could be a good sign.

Hang in there there's nothing you can do about it now, but warrior is right you must have been getting the difficult level question which is a good sign :spin:

Thanks guys for the positive feedback. I hope that is what I was answering (higher level, harder questions) because if those were the easy ones...that would be impossible to pass.

Is it true that select all that apply questions are higher level questions as well?

Wow. "That test was impossible ..." are my sentiments exactly. I tested today also and feel totally defeated. Just know that this is how the majority of the testers feel when they are finished and we now just wait and pray.

I felt the same exact thing. Usually, you have a good feeling about taking a test, if you did well or not, but I really couldn't tell one way or the other. People say that the questions get harder as you answer correctly, but I kept thinking, are they getting harder because I'm doing well, or are they hard because I don't know my stuff?

Anyway, I just took the test on Sept 26th (Wednesday)--75 questions and it stopped. I was so edgy waiting--I just kept telling myself, it's not the end of the world if I don't pass. On Saturday morning, Sept 29th, my name was listed on the California BRN with a license number! I wish I could give you tips to ward off the anxiety. Best wishes to you for your results and to your future nursing career.
