Register Today!- Aug 11, '10 by seijidanQuote from sunsDiagnostic exam or do you mean the readiness exam? Try aiming for 60 and above. Diagnostic exam just determines your weakest areas. But if you get a 57 percent on the readiness for nclex exam, then maybe try and do a few more practice questions. Just to be surecan anyone pass with 60% on diagnostic? my qt7 is my lowest 54. i was just wanting to finish it. any advice?
- Aug 11, '10 by suns60 on readiness. 54 on qt7 and 58 on qt6. other than that all of it is above 60. except for qbanks
so is it good?? i doubt that i can study more..or retain more info...

- Aug 11, '10 by seijidanQuote from sunsThe aim is to have atleast a 60 on the readiness. 65 is better. When is your exam? If it's in a week, they say double up the number of practice questions. It's really difficult to score above 60 on the questionbank 'cause it's only 50 questions, but do it over and over. Try doing the questions you got wrong over.60 on readiness. 54 on qt7 and 58 on qt6. other than that all of it is above 60. except for qbanks

- Aug 12, '10 by momochichihere's a breakdown of my scores from kaplan. dont laugh they are really bad.. but i passed on my first try

diagnostic-- 60
QT 1-- 47
QT 2-- 52
QT 3-- 50
QT 4-- 58
QT 5-- 55
QT 6-- 60
QT 7-- 59
readiness-- 65
Qbank overall-- 57
i personally hated QT 1-3 because they were purely based on content and recall... i freaked out after i got those three scores... so i decided to study my butt off.. listened to the online content videos while taking notes (and listened to the pharm content video twice because i suck at pharm). I started taking QT 4-7 seriously (as you can probably kind of tell from the score improvements...). I would recommend that you take each test seriously (in a quiet environment and tell people not to bother you, sign off aim and other chats, and have snacks next to you, get up for restroom breaks.. dont just try to 'get it over with')... and... last but not least... ALWAYS REVIEW EACH SINGLE QUESTION! whether you got it wrong or right....
good luck everyone. you can do it
i only used kaplan and i loved the online stuff!

and most of my classmates ONLY used kaplan and almost everyone passed on first try... so if you study really hard the hard work will pay off
good luck!
- Aug 12, '10 by marcnaslipknotI averaged 59 to 63 on Kaplan tests and Qbank but I passed NCLEX with 75 questions. I do think that Kaplan can really help to prepare you even if you aren't getting the magic numbers.
