Temporary Nursing Permit says Null and Void

by dorselm

Hi, I took the NCLEX yesterday and am waiting for the quick results. I looked on my state board of nursing website for license verification and it says that my temporary permit is null and void. The quick results are not available for 48 hours. Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX?

I'm pretty sure if you fail the NCLEX your provisional license is taken away. If you pass it will show your license number. Check with others though, this is just what I'm being told.

I guess it depends on how long it takes your state board to post the license. I took my boards on Thursday, found out I passed on Saturday and didn't see the posting on the board's website until late Monday/early Tuesday. But then my license has Monday's date on it, so sometimes their computers are slow.
