Taking the NCLEX-RN tomorrow 3/5/14...So nervous!

Nursing Students NCLEX

I am so nervous! I don't know if I feel ready. Should I focus in on anything last minute? I have been studying Kaplan for about 5 weeks 50 questions a day. Finished the qbank yesterday with a total of 62% overall. Is the Ncelx easier or harder than kaplan? Should I have studied other material. Ugh this is the worst I am a wreck.

First off BREATH! You can do this! Have confidence in yourself & your ability. Make sure you know generic names of drugs & look over EKG's. Good luck & i'll say a prayer for you

I feel the same way! I test in two weeks! What else have you been doing besides Kaplan? Hurst? For content I'm a nervous wreck as well what we're your Kaplan scores?

I'm also doing Saunders Comprehensive Review.

Kaplan scores are:

Diagnostic:62

Readiness:72

QT1:69

QT2:72

QT3:60

QT4:61

QT5:58, dont know what happened here

QT6:68

QT7: Doing a little later

QBank: 100% complete, 62%correct overall

Here are my scores for Kaplan pretty similar. I'm freaking out!!!! I test 18 march and feel like I'm still lacking a lot of information

Diagnostic: 65%

Qtrainer1: 61%

Qtrainer 2: 67%

Qtrainer3: 58%

Qtrainer 4: 59%

Qtrainer5: 56%

Qtrainer6: 65%

Qtrainer6: 67%

Readiness : 67%

I used Kaplan PDA and ATI for my resources. I do have Saunders but only used it a very little. I've also used the study guide that's been floating around here as well. With the qbank and qtrainers every question I got wrong I reviewed it and started a running tab of rationales to review later. I've been more practice questions than content......I don't know if I should I be doing more content? I feel like my studying is all over the place.

Oh and I did 100 of qbank with overall 60%

Our scores are really similar. I think we're ready though. I just really need to pass this. Some days I feel ready but others not so much and now that it's here I am so scared. I'll let you know how it goes pass/fail. Good luck to you!

I did Kaplan too last year and passed with 75 Qs. I didn't do so well on the readiness, but took it as a challenge to strengthen my weaknesses. The scores you get will not predict if you'll pass or fail. I know someone who was getting 70s but failed. Use these tests to know where you need to focus your studying. Just keep on answering Qs from every source you can get your hands on. I did 150-200 Qs a day.

Good luck!!!! Get a good night's rest and eat a good meal the night before

Based on Kaplan's goal to get at least a 60% your scores look awesome! Good luck tomorrow! I am sure we will all be thinking of you! What time do you test?

2pm, thanks everyone!

Your 1st 75 questions, PLEASE DO NOT RUSH, TAKE YOUR TIME. Most of the questions will be SATA, please select only what you know-even if it is just one, take it and go.

Go with your gut and trust me all will be just fine. That is exactly what i did and pass Nclex RN last week. Do not panic.

Good Luck
