Taking NCLEX-PN Tomorrow & FREAKING OUT!! ATI virtual coach told me to reschedule!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Okay I am freaking out!!! I graduated school Nov 2013.....our school took a very very long time to register us for NCLEX b/c they were waiting for us to get the "magical green light" from our ATI virtual coaches. I have had nothing but problems with my coach, and a few classmates that had her said the same thing. I finished all modules, but since some are from more than 6 weeks ago she wanted me to start over & she won't let me do comprehensive test. When I graduated we had to do an ATI exit exam I got 85 on that and it was predicted that I would pass NCLEX 99.9% the first time. But that was 6 months ago. My ATI coach is telling me to reschedule and to redo all modules that are more than 6 weeks old, etc, but like I said I have had nothing BUT problems with her, so not sure what to do at this point. My exam is tomorrow at 8am. :***: Any tip, tricks, advice!!!! I know first and foremost I need to calm down, but that is hard right now.

Also......forgot to mention that my ATT was dated Jan 25, so now that they've taken so long to schedule me, if I fail this I'll have to wait 45 days to retake, right? So that will leave me right at the 6 month deadline (then what happens) Also stressing b/c my school only pays for first attempt, meaning if I don't pass this tomorrow I will have to find $300 to retake ad $150 for my license, and I have no $ I am really freaking out, not sure what to do.

Have you been preparing for the exam by studying on a regular basis? Can you truly say that you feel prepared to sit for the NCLEX tomorrow? If your answer is NO to even one of those questions, you should reschedule.

I have been studying all the time. Do I feel ready, no, but I think it is more the fear of the unknown. I can't reschedule b/c test is tomorrow at 8am

I will continue to study tonight, yet still go to bed at a decent time. I have a lot going on right now, I'm just stressed. I'm even freaking out b/c I don't know what to wear? Can we just wear jeans, or? Can I have a hair tie in my hair? chapstick? I am literally freaking out for silly things last minute. Like I get soooooooo thirsty especially when I am nervous, but I know we can't have water, right? or even a mint to keep mouth from being dry? That stresses me out ha ha it is just crazy talk from me right now I think

When I took NCLEX, there were people in their PJ's. No joke. Wear something comfortable because if you're going to sitting in it for a possible 6 hours, might as well make it comfy. You really need to put down your books for the night and RELAX. You have prepared the best that you can! Have faith in yourself! Best of luck to you!

So, you have been studying... you should be fine. But you are going to have to leave that anxiety at home in the morning. As someone else stated, put the books away now. Try your best to relax for the remainder of the evening. I am definitely praying for you. Good luck future nurse!

Thank you all the prayers are needed and much appreciated!! Going to leave computer/books now to go pick up my kids, get stuff for breakfast tomorrow. I'll probably do another test tonight online or go through my books for piece of mind. Thank you all

Breathe!! And no more studying!! Be confident and pray on it. Get a good nights sleep & eat a healthy breakfast! Maybe even take a light jog before you go and remember that you got this! Don't let your anxiety get the best of you!! Prayers hun;)

No. No more studying. You know what you know, and nothing is going to change between now and tomorrow.

pick out some comfy clothes now, eat some dinner, watch a movie or take a walk or do something else that's fun. Remind yourself that you did very well on the ATI, and that at this point the opinion of your virtual coach is irrelevant.

have faith in yourself and your abilities.

Ok well that was HARD!!!! It shut off at 85, which I was told is a good sign, so far I'm getting the good pop up!! Fingers crossed!!!
