Taking nclex 2/13/13 - Page 2
Register Today!- Feb 12 by LoveBSN12Quote from MAtoBSNThank you so much for this tip. Congrats to you as well... You did it!!!!Also, here is a tip: look at the choices over a few times before answering. With the above passing level questions, the answer is not always obvious. I actually caught myself a few times just picking the obvious answer and hit the 'next' button but i slowed myself down and broke down each option...and then I could see that the answer does not just jump out at you. They were tricky little buggers but you can critically think it out for sure! You'll do great!
- Feb 12 by St_ClaireTwo things I learned taking the NCLEX today (75 questions and the good pop up, WOOHOO!).
1. Slow down. On a few questions I went so fast I know I did not choose the correct answer because just as I clicked "next" I saw the right answer. And on a SATA question I chose only one answer.
2. Exactly what a poster above said about the answer not being obvious on higher level questions. It's probably not the obvious answer.
Good luck tomorrow! You will be fine. - Feb 12 by LoveBSN12Quote from St_ClaireThanks and congrats to you! Ive also done that multiple times on practice questions. I'm trying to remain positive at this point... That's all I can do!!! I hope I'll be coming back with great news tomorrow!!!!Two things I learned taking the NCLEX today (75 questions and the good pop up, WOOHOO!).

I want to freak out at times but I refuse to let my nerves get the best of me. I cried yesterday and on and off since Ive started nursing school and have had plenty of restlessness nights. I'm trying something different today... I hope it helps!!!!
- Feb 12 by swilds12Trust me its best to relax the night before. I just took it today and got 75 questions and the good pop up. I'm still waiting for the "official" results. However, my nerves were under control once I got to the computer. The higher level questions were near impossible to know the "right" answer. I had alot of those narrowed to two.
- Feb 12 by julz68Quote from LoveBSN12That sounds like me! Two days before I took it, I had anxiety and was bursting into tears at any given moment all day! I felt like i was going crazy. It's all normal tho. Thanks everyone for your well wishes!!!! I'll keep you updated. I want to freak out at times but I refuse to let my nerves get the best of me. Don't freak out! Try to relax... And believe in yourself! I've done all I can do! I'm trying to remain calm so I'll be able to focus tomorrow. And tell yourself over and over you can do it! I want to freak out too, but I know it will not help. I pray that we will be RNs after we leave our test tomorrow!!!!
we can do this! By tomorrow, we'll be RNs!!!!!
