Hi everyone, i'm been visiting this site on a regular basis, i enjoyed reading the threads and getting some tips about the NCLEX exam. This is my first time to post.... i've been reviewing for the NCLEX-RN exam, and scheduled to take the exam 2nd wk of Aug... Im on self review and only using saunders 3rd ed. for my review... So I just want to make a survey if it's possible to pass the NCLEX-RN by only using saunders book and CD...... Pls. answer the questions with Yes & No....feel free to add your comments. Thanks in advance for all the replies and GOD BLESS.

1. Using only saunders?
2. Saunders with other review materials?

IF USING ONLY SAUNDERS....
1. Have I read the whole book and answered all questions in the CD?
2. I only answered the questions in the book?
3. I only answered the questions in the CD?

1 . Passed with 75 Q last week
2. Used mainly Sounder's for content and Kaplan Q-bank and Q trainer
3. Read 90% of all chapters in Sounder's, did most of the Quizes, did approx. 2000 Q from CD.

Friend of mine passed NCLEX with 75Q and she did Sounder's CD only. Did all of the Qs and took notes.

passed with 75Q but i did a lot of reading using mainly kaplan materials.i read saunders 5000 questions but didnt use the CD.all depends on you.It depends on how you know about nclex and the strategies.You can pass depending on your ability.

1. I used mostly Saunders
2. I also had Mosby's study cards...because I have 3 kids and they were easy to tote around.
---I read all pyramid marked points in the book. I started answerign questions..but found the book questions easy and rationales not very helpful. I answered at LEAST 2000 questions on the CD...though some were repeats depending on how I sectioned it. I felt the CD was the most helpful for me.
