A pt is placed on Tobrex for abdominal wound infection. The nurse should monitor for which adverse effect of the medication
1- decrease creatinine
2- increase urine output
3- increase BUN
4- decrease blood pressure

A pt is placed on kayexalate should be monitor evaluated for by which lab value
1- Ca 9.9
2- Na 142
3- K 4.9
4- Mg 2.3

A pt is diagnose with MI, place in order of priority
call the radiology for chest X-ray
obtain the ECG
call lab to start blood work
administer oxygen

An LPN notice excessive bleeding on the dressing of a pt 2hr after surgery with a pt who had a enucleation. what is the appropriate action the nurse should take
1- document the finding
2- notify the register nurse
3- mark on the dressing and monitor for drainage
4- reinforce the dressing.

Apt is schedule for ABG. which of the following need to be checked before collecting the sample for the procedure
1- check patency of the brachial artery
2- check patency of the urinary artery

3- increase BUN: Tobrex is an antibiotic and the adverse effect to watch out for is increase in medication which can cause nephrotoxicity, tinntus, ototoxicity etc
4- decrease blood pressure

A. Knock the door and stay out side the room for 5 min
B. Dont interrupt them just come back after 30 min

RACE Put this in order

Pull the alarm
Rescue the client from fire
contain the fire
Evacuate the pt
Close all doors

I know what is race guys but close the doors option i dont know where its goes
