- Jul 24, '12 by bttrflyHi I tried to send a reply from my email but i guess it didn't go through. I treated studying as a job. I developed a study plan that included the Kaplan qbank online only portion because of time constraints. I did 50 questions and reviewed all the rationales whether i got a question right or wrong. I also had my med/surg and tabers handy for researching what i wasn't completely confident on. I then did an additional 50 and reviewed. I took a break and later in the day i did another 25 -50 questions. I read the Kaplan strategies to succeed on the Nclex and LaCharity Priority and Delegation. I also have Lippincott's book for Alternative Style questions. I took one to two days off each week for 4 weeks. It was tough but i went in feeling more confident. Also, having been an LPN for a while ( which i love) hendered me a bit because you have to block out the real world of nursing as opposed to the Nclex world. Believe me it is easier said than done:spin:mbuttar likes this.

- Aug 11, '12 by diaztingtongmbuttar I tried to PM u but it did not let me so here it is the answer to your question.
Hey, this is my 3rd time and I use ncsbn 3 weeks course pluse KAPLAN nclex 2012 book and I didn't even finish every questions. However I use a few more free apps on my phone, one is from kaplan mini q bank another is Lippincott's and I got the score somewhere between 40 - 70's for all the material I use. I also download NCSBN free app RX flash card on my phone but barely touch it (only review around 20 -30 drugs). For my first 2 times I admit I did not study much only 30 min - 2 hours each day and not even everyday, this time I did it constantly everyday any time I have time and I think it's around 4 - 6 hours per day for the last month. I read all the review content on NCSBN course for around 2 weeks then go for the questions last week , for the first month I only do questions for 1 - 2 hours per day.<br>I hope this help. I still don't know if I pass or failed tho. Will update and good luck to you.
