- Jan 27 by emptyboxcarsQuote from noypiakoI haven't taken and passed the NCLEX yet, so take my comments as you will. But I can say that, for me, I've had to physically read the review information in the Saunders book as well. I couldn't just sit and do questions. I've probably done 5000 questions by now, but I found that I really needed to review some of the systems, s/s, etc. from Saunders if I was going to use the critical thinking skills needed to answer the questions correctly. I *heart* the Saunders book and CD for this reason. It does an excellent job at providing a thorough review of the important topics. With this foundation, you can move on to answer the questions using your critical thinking skills.i did 2000 questions but still i feel like it's not enough to pass nclexrn exam.help me pls....my exam is on thursday.this is my 4th time taking this test.don't know what to do....

- Jan 27 by noypiakoif i will do that, reading all the chapters in saunders book it will take me 2 months to finish it.my exam is on thursday.so i have to stick on answering questions.that's my biggest problem.
- Jan 27 by martinbeginRemember- take a deep breath and let it out slowly- and repeat as often as needed when testing. Nerves, anxiety and stress cause a lot of the problems for test takers.
Second tip- patient safety. The N-CLEX folks want to make sure the nurses who pass the test will keep patients safe. Although the test is based on knowledge accrued during a typical nursing program, questions about pt care are usually looking for answers that keep patients safe. - Jan 28 by AZMOMO2I felt the exact same way and I hope to never see another NCLEX question again! Kaplan was VERY similar to the test IMO.
My test was more than 1/2 SATA. - Jan 28 by jennalandQuote from AlessaRoseHey alessarose can you email me the study guide?? jenjen1606@hotmail.com I'd really appreciate it!!!!!

- Jan 28 by EMEddieIts almost impossible to feel "ready" for the NCLEX. I always felt that I had to study more and more , but the more I studied, the more anxiety I got and nervous I became. Do a lot of practice questions leading to you test day, most important be CONFIDENT, believe in yourself. Once you sit at the testing center, dont doubt that you will pass, know that you will pass and take one questions at a time, focus, break it down, analyze and move on. Believe in yourself =)emptyboxcars likes this.
