so sad about the unavailability of suzanne's plan

I'm about to finish the 1st step of suzanne's plan. I used the 3rd edition of saunders, answered every posttest on every chapter and was hoping to finish soon so that i could ask for suzanne's plan. I've read alot of threads before about the testaments of many of our fellow nurses on how suzanne's plan had greatly helped them to pass the nclex-rn exam. That's why I was very eager also to use her plan thinking it will also help me to pass. I haven't post and check this site for awhile and to my surprise I discovered that suzanne's plan is not available anymore. I know suzanne's has alot to help. In every questions asked, she had a brilliant answers. That's why i'm very sad that she is no longer available. Why? what happened? I was hoping and praying that she will be back here. If she knows how many people needs her, i hope she will be touched and come back and continue to help us. Please give us hope to pass. Suzanne's plan increases our determination and chances to pass. So please, let's PRAY that suzanne or someone like her will be here.
What would I do to somehow have like the suzanne's plan in preparation for the nclex-rn exam? I am enrolled to a ncsbn review also.
Please keep me updated, thanks a lot.

I would concentrate on answering questions and reading the rationales.

You should act as if that was not a factor. Just continue to answer as many questions as you can, and study the rationales for the questions. Good luck.

Help!! I just failed the NCLEX for the 2nd time, with 2 areas of being below passing and all the others near passing. I took Kaplan and found that it did not help me! I also have used Saunders and Lippincott. Any tips? I heard that Suzannes plan was great, I know it's not on here anymore but could anyone else give me her tips? Thanks!!!

I just felt that I could not use the decision tree on ALOT of the questions. If you could use the decision tree on most of them than it might work but when asked about med side effects and select all that apply questions, it definately does not help!!

Practise answering questions, make sure you understand what the question is asking. Read the rationale even if you got it right, will either confirm your answer or point you in the right direction.

Hi Fudgeremedy,
I agree with all of the other comments here. First of all forget that this plan was even available you do not want this to hinder your learning. However you choose to review is up to you select 1 review, doing at least 100 questions per day reading every rationale why the answer is right or wrong. I was slow in the beginning, so if you have to start out with 50 and then as you get faster add 25 more until you get to 100. I would also suggest the Prioritization, Delegation & Assignment Book by Linda LaCharity which you may purchase on Amazon.com or half.com. These types of questions are higher level and you want to master these and that only comes with Practice, Practice, Practice.
Good Luck to you in your studies, any questions I'm a PM away.

aaww..this is sad news. i myself used her plan when i reviewed and passed the nclex last 2007. well, where ever you are now suzanne, eventhough you havent met yet in person the people you have helped greatly by your study plan, that includes me, i dont think we'll ever forget you. i must say that you left a legacy to most of the RN's now you used your plan.

thanks! hope your enjoying your time whereever you are right now.
