i need advice on scheduling the test. i have been studying since january but working in between. sometimes 32 hours a week, sometimes 40 hours a week working and the rest for studying. i am planning to take my test in june...and my boss was very nice to give me a few days before the test. how many days should i schedule with no work before my big day. also if i take my exam saturday, will i get my quick results monday? if i test friday will i get the results by monday too?

where are you from?

I took mine on a Saturday and saw my name on CA BRN, found out I passed Tuesday... I am also working full time night shift as an LVN, i asked for 3 days off before my exam date... When I came back to work I am already an RN...

If your state participates in quick results, you'll find out whether you pass or not in 48 hours... Weekends included...

Good luck and God bless...

i took nclex may 14,2009, thursday..i studied for atleast 3 weeks to a whole month before taking the test..i stopped studying and just prepared myself for the big day a day before the exam..i went to the mall..relaxed with my husband and never touched the book..or any of my study guides..i went to bed at 8:00 but guess what, i didnt sleep til 1am because of nerves..i even prayed the rosary..the day of the exam i ate a big breakfast and drove myself to the ttesting center..it was 7am..i was the very first one to get there..even before the proctor..HAHA..i was so nervous..but this is it..there's no turning back..while waiting for my name to be called..i was praying quietly..asking help from GOD..so there it was question number 1..i was shaking..and i could see that..while pressing the mouse..but i told myself the more nervous i am, the more brainsick i get..i was hoping to stop at 75. but the computer went all the way to 265..when i was done..i couldnt even open my locker to get my things..lol..i drove back home hoping for the best..i called my family and i told them im in the verge of breaking down..so i waited.. i was told id get my results in the mail, most of my classmates got theirs in two days..but i couldnt help but check..i went to pearsonvue and check my results, my eyes were shut while pressing the send button..but i saw the word PASS on the status..i called everyone i know and even called pearsonvue to confirm if i passed..and i was told i did..but up to now, i still haven't got my license..and i checked our BON website and my name is still not there..i am getting worried but i called pearson vue today 2 times to confirm if i pass..haha and they said YES..

im sorry it was a long reply..lol..

btw, this is my second try..
I wish you luck on your boards!!
