Saunder's...what are your exam scores?!?

For those of you who used or are using Saunder's to review for the NCLEX, what was your average score/percentage that you usually got after the exams? And did you pass or fail the NCLEX?

I'm just trying to get an idea of how well/not so well I'm doing. It would be nice if they gave you a predictor like ATI.

Thanx!

Im following Suzanne's plan and my scores after the exams are 70% and up. Im using either the quiz mode or exam mode. I don't know whether that's good enough or not but I study every day doing questions and reviewing medications. Good luck to you.

Average score I'd make sure I'd get above 75, anything under that and I'd read the chapter and make sure I'd cover everything. I completed about half the CD under Study mode, 2700 questions and passed. Goodluck

Hi,

I used the Saunder's book and CD-ROM. You are on the right track. I also purchased the Saunders n-clex flashcards to. I did the study-mode and then I did the quiz mode. But, if you do it that way, the quiz mode was just the same questions from the study-mode. So I just jumped right to the quiz-mode and did the exam mode, what I did not know, I looked it up, but my scores were really high. God is with you, good luck, you can do this.

I don't know if this question was for me, but I spend about 2 hours a day on the CD. And about an hour every other day doing flashcards of relevant info like herbs, some meds, ABG's, S/S of various complications, etc. I don't know what the "hesi" is though.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I'm just a little worried because I'm not scoring high at all. Usually high 60's, with occasional low 70's. But I think that's because when I do the exam, I only test one area of content @ a time. Like a whole exam just on cardio, or oncology, etc. When I'm done testing in all of the areas seperately, I plan to do exams covering all content together, in application or analysis mode. I figure my scores will be much higher then, since when I started the CD, and did the Assessment Mode I scored 80%.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Anyone pass the NCLEX scoring low on these exams? Some say it doesn't matter how you scored, just that you understand the rationales. Any comments on this?
