Saunder's comprehensive review

by Lorodz

Saunder's have a comprehensive coverage on pharmacology, (around 13 chapters) usually, a chapter on pharmacology after a system. My question is, is the pharmacology covered in saunder's enough for the nclex-rn?

I'm planning to get the Saunder's comprehensive review. Does it matter if I get the old or new edition?

Most definitely only use the 4th edition. The older edition does not have any of the newer format questions.

And even though the pages in the book may look the same, there are enough subtle differences that have been made to it to make it different and not just the same book with a new cover.

Yes it does. All the Medications given in my test can found in Saunders. I added an extra bonus by reveiwing commonly seen T.V advertised Medications but those didn't show up on my test. Just in case though you should reveiw those as well, since those are considered a hot item on the test claimed by other people who've taken it.

i agree with LVdreamer, all the meds that came out of my test too were found in Saunders. while studying the meds section of the saunders book i wrote the ones i felt that were most likely going to come out on a sheet of long bond paper, then studied it again the last 3 days before my exam..
