Sata Questions: Is it a good sign?

Hi guys! I haven't posted for long. A friend of mine took the nclex-rn, she got 75 questions wherein around 6-8 questions were sata. Is it a good sign? Has anyone here got 75 questions and 6-8 sata and failed? I told her to try the pearsonvue trick but she didn't like the idea of it because she will feel really bad if it directs her to the payment tab (meaning failed) so she wants to just wait for the dreaded mail. She searched her book trying to look if her answers were correct but some or probably most of it were wrong. And she said the last part of her exam was so basic though she still got like 2-3 sata in the end. I don't know what to tell her because I myself failed the exam before. So guys if you have any idea please feel free to share it. Thank You.

SAT questions are just another style of questions and doesn't mean anything else. You can pass or fail with many or none

Just wanted to give clarifications that SATA questions are in low level category in NCLEX exam. Many people in this forum seems to think or confused that when you get tons of SATA questions are good but actually are bad ( I mean not bad but you don't want get so much of these type of questions because to PASS the NCLEX you need to be in application and Analyis base questions). Just found out that SATA (select all that apply) questions is a knowledge base question according to Kaplan trainer 1&2 there are few questions of SATA there. You can also look them up in saunsders book if you need further clarifications.

I'm sorry. I lied it was me..."not my friend" who took the exam with around 6-8 sata... I am just sooo shy coz maybe I failed. I just saw my name on the California Board of Registered Nursing website...and I'm so happy! I am not really sure if sata is a good sign or not...but I passed with 6-8 sata. I've also read a few replies at some threads that someone got a lot of sata and failed. I am so lucky I PASSED!!! To God be the glory. Thanks to all. God Bless

I am very happy for you that you passed the NCLEX. You probably got the application/analyis level type of SATA questions. Sometimes SATA questions can also be a knowledge base type of questions. Congratulations.

I got about 6-8 and stopped at 75. It was frustrating because I always wanna pick more than 2 things but if two things are all that popped out as stuff I knew was true, I only picked those two things on the test. I was getting very agitated because my questions seemed to be getting easier as I kept going...then hard....then easy.

I felt that way too because I observed that when I reached 60-70+ the questions are getting easier. My 6-8 sata are also knowledge based that's why I felt that I failed the exam... But the truth is... I PASSED! To God be the glory.
