Rn licensure change after nclex

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I will be graduating nursing school (RN) in NJ and plan to move back to CO shortly after. My question is should I take the nclex in NJ and go through the CO endorsement process, or can I/ should I just graduate, move, then take the nclex in CO? I didn't know if the nclex had to be taken in the state you graduate.. Thanks!

You can take the nclex anywhere it's offered. If you have zero intention of working in NJ don't waste time and money applying just apply to CO for initial licensure and take the nclex wherever you are once authorize. Pearson Vue sends the results to the state you applied to
