re: sadness

I wrote the post "sadness" the day of my test

and I want to thank all of you who responded with such sweet words.

I cried when I saw my name posted on the BON.
Because I had put so much time and effort into studying for that test.

my eyebrows are horrible- haven't gotten them waxed since august
haven't gotten my hair done, nails, gone shopping(well a little bit), no decorations for thanksgiving, not washed my car, not vacuumed my car... the house is a mess. so disorganized, no movies, no dinners, no nothing of "fun" <--- and it was all worth it because I passed my test!

I got really down on myself because I gave up so much of the things that I love to do for a test.
I spent so much money on my boards (FL rate are horrible=other states you pay $40!! I payed $190 in august, and now they are up to $205, plus pearson, kaplan $400, learningext $49, books $50)
and I only earn $10/hr working once every 2 weeks!!! (I take care of my baby, that's my real job)
it's a lot of money that I thought I threw away!

SO passing this test was really important to me. It's a bonus from a new job, its money that I can have to pay student loans, pay for my car.... my expenses.

BUT ANYWAYS, passing this test meant a lot to me.

and I finally did it!!!!!!

THANK YOU GUYS WHO SUPPORTED ME on my "horrible" day

patty, RN
