So I'm up late studying when I probably should be asleep ...but this is really bothering me! I was originally told that SARS was droplet precautions but took a quiz that said it was both airborne and contact. I also thought Saunders said it was droplet, but I could be wrong. I'm wondering if it was recently changed, but I really just want to know what it would be for the NCLEX! Does anyone have any ideas?? Thanks!!

hey...i recently got a practice question about SARS...as far as the correct answer was concerned....SARS is airborne precaution, and you have to wear a mask when in the room

Thanks! I will just go with airborne then, because I would hope they would be too safe rather than not safe enough. Hopefully I won't get that on my test. Thank you!
