Sorry for another PVT post.

So i took my NCLEX-RN exam in California today. After the test i went straight to my car and attempted to register for another exam and got the good pop up. Tried it again 30 minutes later at home and still got the good pop up. This time however clicked submit again for the heck of it and it charged me the $200. Anyone have this happen?

What did the pop up say?

You have to submit your payment and risk $200 to attempt the trick. The trick is most inaccurate in the first twenty four hours post test as all exams go through a QC check for accuracy.

You offered $$ & they took it. It sounds like you did not do the test right in the first place

First two tries said "our records indicated that you have recently scheduled this exam..." third time it took my payment thats after clicking submit again right after the 2nd try.

So i either passed and lost $200 or flat out failed? Anyone try it right after the exam and have the "trick" results change like mine or did pushing the submit button a second time right after getting the good pop up shoot myself in the foot?

If you didn't hit submit twice for payment when you tried the first two times you didn't do the trick right. It's rare but a few have reportedly donated $200 to Pearson by being impatient. The majority who pay $200 failed

The 1st and 2nd times i entered my credit card in and got the good pop up this was after hitting submit one was 10 mins after exam 2nd was 30 mins after exam. On the 2nd try got the good pop up went down and hit submit again thats when it charged me

Just to be more clear for the 2nd attempt i filled out my school info clicked next inputted my credit card info in checkout step 1 and clicked next. Checkout step 2 had the red triangle and "our records indicate blah blah.." is that as far as i needed to go?

If it took your payment its most likely you failed and need to reapply & pay the BoN. You tried too soon and now that you paid, if you attempt again it will tell you that you have an open registration.

Your impatience to not wait until the QC of your exam results (24 hours post test) means no one can tell you until you get a letter from the BoN.

If you passed you donated $200. If you failed you will receive the forms to reapply & pay for a new ATT

You need to enter your credit card info submit then submit again to confirm that you are authorizing a $200 non-refundable registration fee charge. If you did not click to confirm the first times you didn't do the attempt correctly. The potential for inaccuracy is greatest in the first 24 hours while tests are QC'd (may take anywhere from 1-24hrs)

Sorry to hear this! It sounds like you just did this too early--so unfortunately, you won't know until the quick results arrive (likely tomorrow?). Keep us posted! Hopefully you did pass

I am soon hurting to know if I passed. This is cruel considering the technology exists to let us know immediately!!!

I took my NCLEX yesterday. Everyone I know has passed with 75 questions. I went over 200. And I swear some of my multiple choice answers were so obviously correct and warranted a following multiple choice question but didn't!!!

Anywaaaaaaay..... I tried the PVT. I have gotten the triangle and so on....but now I read that I may have done it too early (within the 24º time). I just assume make another appointment to re-take so I don't mind chancing the $$$ but if I have read correctly this trick can take my money even if I passed???

I have not clicked on the submit my order again after receiving the "good pop up" like dullc posted BUT something different did happen this morning when I went to try again. It had me place my CC info in three times before I got the "good pop up". Don't know what it means but thought I would throw it out into the PVT-sphere BC I haven't seen anyone else mention it.

AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! I'll pay that Quick Result tomorrow but I'll be on pins and needles until then!!!

I think when I did it, it also asked for my cc info etc---you pretty much have to go all of the way and click submit . At that point it would tell you if you can no longer register due to having "recently scheduled this exam". I do think there are people who have been charged but passed ...and there are people who thought they got the good pop up but failed- or got the bad pop up and passed--although in alot of those cases it seems like they didn't actually go the whole way.
