So i took the NCLEX-PN today. Man o man, it was hard!!! There were alot of off the wall questions. I got 11 or 12 select all that apply!!!...that alone freaked me out because when i did practice questions i was horrible at those. I got 8 math questions which was the highlight of the test for me...easy points. About 5 peds questions, 5 psych, 3 OB, 3 or 4 infection control. There were alot of prioritization questions (which patient would you go see first...remember ABC). Not as many med questions as i anticipated. The computer shut off at 85 questions and it felt like paralysis had set it in....i was stunned. I wanted to take more questions because i wasn't sure i proved my competency, but i was relieved the hell was over. The staff stated I could check my results as early as tomorrow on the BON website, but i couldn't wait that long. Tried the Pearson Vue trick and got the good pop up :). Surprisingly, I left with a huge grin on my face. I studied hard and prayed for this license, and i know i passed. Just waiting for my license number to pop up on the website in a few days :)

goodluck

Good luck.

Isn't a weird feeling? It's like you wanna be happy because you u finally took it, but you cant be happy because you can't see the official results yet. It kinda sucks!! I took it yesterday, it shut off at 75, and I did the trick and got the good pop up, so I really just want to start calling people and say I'm a Nurse, but, what if.....?

That nagging voice saying "what if" lasted all of 10 minutes. I have a wonderful support system who reminded me that I have God's favor and it's been settled. So I'm not worrying. You shouldn't worry either. It's a done deal. I don't know if you're a believer but I prayed for you. So I'm going to say..CONGRATULATIONS!
