You have to wait 24 hours for the computer to score the test twice. PVT trick was changed over the summer. You must now submit your credit card. If they reject your payment, then it indicates you passed. If your card is charged for another test, then you failed. If you don't wait the 24 hours, there is a chance of being charged when you actually passed.

If you stopped at the credit card page, then you didn't go far enough. Use my guide on the PVT.

I did put in all creditcard number and it says decline creditcard due to insufficient fund.

Again, you did not wait at least 24 hours; according to the timestamp on AN, it's been considerably less. While MOST people will have their second test be the same as the first, it ABSOLUTELY DOES happen that they do not. You can read of those instances right on this very forum, people post about it quite a bit.

It seems that your first scoring was a 'fail', and the *probability* is you will still fail after the second scoring. HOWEVER, you cannot be sure until both sets of scores are finalized. And it's too early for that, as has already been said.

People should not be congratuled nor consoled until after the final scores are done!

Well if it's 24 hours later and the card said that then 99% you failed. I tried it with a card with no money ..it said the card had no money..a few days later I got my cpr and I failed.

Point is it has not been 24 hours. Don't know where the statistic of 99% came from (made up?) but while it is likely the OP failed (based on first scoring alone).....I hate seeing people despondent when they need not be.

Theres a different pop up if your test hasnt been graded twice yet. Just check the guide. People who get false positives usually do it wrong. I agree with djays.

I'm sorry, but you are mistaken. Putting it as 'nicely' as I can, over time it has been shown many times that various messages are used throughout the country, and variations of the same message don't mean different things. This has been proven true over the last several years, including the few months since Pearson Vue updated its registration software.

There are really only two messages that matter: one telling you that registration is on hold....and any other variation of "you can't register at this time". "On Hold" means just that: palm scan issue, timing of exam issue, all kinds of reasons for a test to be on hold before resulting.

All the other variations are just that....variations. Your creating your own 'guide' doesn't change that, sorry.

False positives, false negatives, ALL of these show up because people do not wait a full--or longer than--24 hours. I say 'longer than 24 hours' for those who have had their tests initially on Hold. Holds can last 24,48,72 hours, and all numbers in between. And then the scoring process begins. So people cannot reasonably determine pass or fail until enough time has passed.....and they typically do not allow that time.

It is what it is.

Tammy. Just let us know how you did once the results are in. Hope for the best, but dont have false hopes.

Oh, and the guide does talk about the 24 hour wait.
